Statement of Intent

We are committed to minimising the impact of our operations on the environment through the adoption of good business environmental practises which are linked to a programme of continuous improvement. We will seek to achieve this by;

* observing and meeting the requirements of all relevant environmental legislation

* encouraging the efficient use of utilities (energy and water)

* reducing our consumption of raw materials, re-using materials where possible and promoting the use of re-cycled materials wherever possible

* disposing of all waste materials in an environmentally sensitive manner

* developing environmental friendly transport policies within the business

* assigning specific environmental responsibilities throughout the management structure of the business

* encouraging all employees to take personal responsibility for environmental risks and improvements

* setting up specific ongoing targets for environmental improvements

* reviewing this policy, at least annually
